Ahead of the crucial election in Jharkhand, INDIA bloc members, Congress-JMM-RJD-CPI-M, released a joint manifesto in the presence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and others.

The newly presented manifesto promises seven guarantees for the people of Jharkhand.

“This is the time of the election and every party is preparing for the same. It is important for every party to tell the reason to the public for why they should vote for you. Therefore, alliance members have gathered here. After this election, the coming government will move forward with the guarantees that we have launched today,” said Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren on manifesto launch.


Seven guarantees of INDIA bloc:

  • 1932 based Khatiyan Guarantee
  • Sarna Dharam Code will be implemented.
  • ‘Maiya Samman Yojana’. From December 2024, an honorarium of Rs 2,500 will be given under the Maiya Samman Yojana, which is Rs 1,000 currently.
  • The third is ‘Guarantee of Social Justice’. ST - 28%, SC - 12%, OBC - 27% reservation.
  • Fourth- ‘Food Security Guarantee’. Ration distribution will be done at 7 kg per person.
  • Fifth is- ‘Guarantee of Employment and Health Security’. Jobs and employment will be provided to 10 lakh youth (of Jharkhand), and health insurance up to Rs 15 lakh will be given.
  • Sixth is the ‘Guarantee of Education’. Seventh is the ‘Farmer Welfare Guarantee’. MSP will be increased from Rs 2,400 to over Rs 3,000.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah released Bharatiya Janata Party Sankalp Patra (Manifesto) for Jharkhand Assembly elections in Ranchi on Sunday.

Elections for 81 seats in the Jharkhand Assembly will be conducted in two phases on November 13 and November 20, with the counting of votes scheduled for November 23.

In the previous assembly election, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha won 30 seats, the BJP won 25 and Congress won 16 seats.
