Himachal Polls: EVMs found in private vehicle in Shimla, polling party suspended; Congress alleges tampering
People created a ruckus on Saturday night after Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) were found inside a private vehicle in the Rampur constituency of Shimla. A polling party was stopped for the transport of EVMs using a private vehicle. They were suspended after an investigation found that the transportation was unauthorised and illegal. Meanwhile, the Opposition Congress alleged EVM tampering after the incident came to light.
