Sanjay Singh has been chosen to run for the Nuh seat in the state, the district that was gripped by communal violence in 2023.
Other notable candidates featuring in the second list of the saffron party include Satpal Jamba from Pundri, Yogendra Rana from Assandh, Krishna Gahlawat from Rai and Bimla Chaudhary from Pataudi.
In the 2019 elections, the BJP, holding 40 of the 90 assembly seats,forged an alliance with the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), which won 10 seats, to form a coalition government.
The Congress, meanwhile, secured 31 seats. However, the BJP-JJP alliance was dissolved earlier this year.

The polling for 90 seats in Haryana will be held in a single phase with voting scheduled for October 5 and counting for October 8.
