BJP will score hattrick in Haryana: PM Modi at Kurukshetra rally

The prime minister said that within 100 days of its third term at the Centre, the BJP had begun Rs 15 lakh crore worth projects, adding that an additional 11 lakh women had become 'lakhpati didis' in the same period of time.
Talking about people's finances, Modi said that the BJP wanted people to earn and save more. He said that his party had introduced the Ayushman Bharat scheme for all senior citizens above the age of 70, which gives free healthcare of up to Rs 5 lakh.
The BJP leader claimed that before the BJP came to power, only 50 per cent of Haryana households had water connection, but now almost 100 per cent households had it. He added that electricity bills in the state would soon become zero.
Attack on the Congress
In an attack on the Congress party, PM Modi said that it had ruined Himachal Pradesh with its governance. He said that the prices in the state had shot up, adding that the party had not even spared flourishing states like Karnataka and Telangana. The prime minister further stated that Congress had not helped the farmers of Karnataka and Telangana, adding that the party did not provide MSP on crops in the two states. He claimed that 1,200 farmers had died by suicide in Karnataka since the Congress came into power.
Further, Modi said that the Congress party wanted to bring back Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. "This Article was responsible for stone pelting and terrorism in the state. Soldiers from Haryana came back in tricolour as martyrs," he said.
He also said that during the Congress rule, the Old Pension scheme did not help anyone Haryana, adding the the New Pension Scheme had guaranteed a certain amount of money for everyone. Talking about One Rank One Pension for the army, Modi said that the Congress had held it back, but the BJP rolled it out, which had benefitted 1.5 lakh retired soldiers from Haryana.
"Congress politics has reduced to spreading falsehood and anarchy in country" said Modi.
Assuring the Dalits, OBCs and tribals
Modi said that it was his guarantee that reservations for the Dalits, OBCs and tribals would remain as long as he was alive. He claimed that the Congress wanted to remove such provisions. The prime minister said that the Congress did not respect Dr BR Ambedkar and never wanted him in their party. He further claimed that the Congress was against reservation and that it was the BJP that provided reservation to the OBCs through the Mandal commission.
Haryana elections
