Gandhi has not so far campaigned in the western state in this election, while he completely stayed away from campaigning in Himachal Pradesh which voted on November 12.
The former Congress president last visited the state on September 5, two days before moving on to lead the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Yatra will now be on a break for a day while he campaigns in Gujarat.
"He will visit Gujarat on Nov 21. He will go to Rajkot and Surat to hold public rallies," Congress MP KC Venugopal told the media about the scheduled public rally in the state.
From the BJP camp, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address three back-to-back election rallies today.
PM Modi's first rally on Monday will be in Surendranagar at 11 am, the next will be in Jabusar at 1 pm, and then in Navsari around 3 pm.
Amit Shah will hold four public meetings in Dwarka, Somnath, Junagadh and Kutchh districts of the state on Monday ahead of the Gujarat assembly elections slated next month.
At around 11 am, he will address the first meeting in the Khambhaliya Assembly constituency in the Dwarka district. Then at 1 pm, in Somnath at Kodinar, he will address another rally.
The Home Minister will address the other two meetings at 3 and 4 pm in the Mangrol Assembly constituency in Junagadh and Bhuj Assembly constituency in Kutchh respectively.
