Gujarat Election 2022 : PM Modi to address 35 more rallies in the state

Gujarat Election 2022: A senior state party leader told, “PM Modi will address about 35 more rallies by the end of campaigning for the second phase of the Gujarat election.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address about 35 more rallies in poll-bound Gujarat by the end of campaigning for the second phase. He will address meetings at Mehsana, Dahod, Vadodara, Bhavnagar, Palanpur, Dehgam, Matar, and Dholka on Wednesday and Thursday, BJP leaders said.

A senior state party leader told the Times of India, “The PM will address about 35 more rallies by the end of campaigning for the second phase of the Gujarat election.”

PM Modi has addressed 16 rallies in the past three days. He will take a break for a day from campaigning on Tuesday


He will start another round of rallies on Wednesday.

The party is scheduled to hold rallies today across 93 assembly constituencies that go into polls in the second phase of the state elections.

Among the leaders who will participate in Tuesday’s public meetings are BJP national president J P Nadda, Union home minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union ministers Parshottam Rupala and Mansukh Mandaviya.

In the 2017 Gujarat Assembly polls, the BJP was halted at 99 seats out of a total of 182 seats.

The western state has 182 assembly constituencies that will go for polling in two phases on December 1 and 5.

The counting of votes will occur on December 8, which coincides with Himachal Pradesh's result date.
