Congress is model of nepotism, casteism, sectarianism and vote bank politics: PM Modi

While addressing a rally in Gujarat's Mehsana on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked Congress and said that it has destroyed Gujarat and entire country.

"Congress is model of nepotism, casteism, sectarianism and vote bank politics," Modi said.

Highlighting the BJP's achievement in the state, PM Modi said that Gujarat has changed a lot in the last 20 years and that today's generation does not know much about the scarcity the state faced.


"In the last 20 years, Gujarat has changed a lot. Today's generation does not know the scarcity Gujarat faced. This generation has not seen scarcity. For this, the previous generation has worked hard," Modi added.

The prime minister is also scheduled to address poll rallies at Dahod, Vadodara, and Bhavnagar during the day.

Voting for the 182-member Gujarat Assembly will be held in two phases -- December 1 and 5 -- and ballots will be counted on December 8.
