Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Indranil Rajguru alleged after rejoining the Congress that the AAP's real aim in the Gujarat assembly election is to defeat the Congress in order to help the BJP. He claimed that many of the AAP candidates in Gujarat were decided in consultations with the BJP.

"When I joined the Congress, AAP leaders claimed I wanted to be their chief ministerial candidate and that I was seeking 15 party tickets. For six months everybody knew who would be the AAP's poll face and it was decided by those who announced the name and not by the people," Rajguru said at an All India Congress Committee (AICC) briefing on Saturday.
