Delhi Election Results: 'Baby Muffler Man' reaches Kejriwal's residence to show support for AAP
A child, dressed up as AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, reached his residence bright and early morning Saturday, just as counting of votes commenced in Delhi.

The young Kejriwal fan, Avyan Tomar, was seen wearing specs, a jacket and donned a moustache akin to the AAP supremo's signature look.

He was seen smiling for the cameras as he waited for Kejriwal.

Delhi Assembly Election Results 2025

The counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly Election 2025 commenced at 8 AM on February 8. Early trends are expected to emerge by 9:00 AM, with the final results slated to be announced later in the day. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has put in place stringent security and transparency measures to ensure a smooth process.

Throughout the campaign, party leaders engaged in intense debates. The BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, targeted the AAP over allegations of corruption, including the renovation of Arvind Kejriwal’s residence and the state of the Yamuna River.

The Prime Minister went as far as calling the Delhi government "AAPda" (disaster) and referring to Kejriwal’s residence as a "Sheesh Mahal" (glass palace).

In response, AAP focused on its achievements in governance, particularly in sectors like education and healthcare. Kejriwal warned that the BJP would end free education in Delhi if it gained power. At the same time, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized AAP, especially in relation to the ongoing Delhi excise policy case involving Manish Sisodia.

AAP has dominated Delhi’s political scene for the past decade, securing 67 out of 70 seats in 2015 and 62 in 2020. A win this time would further solidify Kejriwal's political standing.

For the BJP, victory in Delhi would break a 27-year electoral drought in the capital. Meanwhile, Congress, once a formidable force, is hoping for a resurgence after failing to win any seats in the last two elections.
