Patparganj election result 2025: Avadh Ojha suffers defeat
BJP has made a storming return to the constituency with Ravinder Negi leading by more than 28,000 votes after 13 rounds against AAP's Avadh Ojha, as per EC trends. In 2020, former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia secured a hard-fought victory against BJP's Ravi Negi by a narrow margin of just 3,207 votes.
However, this time, Sisodia is not contesting from Patparganj. Instead, AAP has fielded Avadh Ojha, a well-known former UPSC exam coach and motivational speaker-turned-politician, hoping to retain the seat in its stronghold.
Patparganj electoral demography

A three-way battle in Patparganj
The BJP has once again trusted Negi, who had given a tough fight to Sisodia in the previous election. With a narrow loss in 2020, Negi is looking to capitalise on the absence of Sisodia from the race and consolidate his voter base.Congress, on the other hand, has fielded Anil Chaudhary, a former MLA and the president of the party's Delhi unit. Chaudhary, who has previously represented the constituency, aims to reclaim the seat for the Congress, which has seen a decline in its influence in Delhi over the last decade.
