Counting in the national capital is underway, with early trends showing a tight-rope battle between AAP and BJP, while Congress seems to be heading towards a decisive defeat.
"I don't know, I haven't checked the results yet," said Priyanka Gandhi, who was asked the question in Kannur, Kerala.
Meanwhile, the internet was flooded with memes mocking Congress' performance in Delhi Assembly Elections. Netizens took interesting takes on numbers, that largely showed the INC stuck somewhere between 0 and 1 seats, in early trends. The Election Commission of India's early trends also flashed zero leads for the party.
Earlier in the day, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah shared a meme mocking the fight between AAP and Congress that intensified during the election campaigning period in Delhi.
The internet took it to a different level, with memes ranging from a 1 rupee coin to takes on EVM claims taking the centre stage on the social media platform.
"EVM ka rona kab chalu karna hai (When do we start crying foul play in vote counting)," read a text on a meme shared by one X user.
"Congress in Delhi elections is like an old CRT TV—still around, but nobody bothers to switch it on. Even their candidates probably voted for someone else," said another X user in a tweet.
