Delhi Elections 2025: AAP launches 'Phir Layenge' campaign song; Kejriwal says people can now dance to it

Delhi Elections: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal addresses the gathering during the launch of the party’s campaign song for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, in New Delhi.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today launched its campaign for the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections. As part of its efforts, the party unveiled a campaign song titled 'Phir layenge Kejriwal' (Will bring back Kejriwal), aiming to rally support for Arvind Kejriwal. The 3:29-minute song highlights AAP's achievements during its tenure in office. Kejriwal said after releasing the song, "We celebrate our elections like festivals, and people wait for our song; now it's out, and people can dance to it."

Taking a dig at the BJP, he added, "I know even BJP leaders will like our song; even they can dance to our song in their rooms."

Chief Minister Atishi and other senior AAP leaders Manish Sisodia, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Gopal Rai and Sanjay Singh, among others, were present at the release.


Key Leaders Attend Launch
At the event, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, party leader Manish Sisodia, and other prominent members were present. AAP MP Sanjay Singh shared his optimism about the song's impact, telling ANI, "This song will be a hit. Our slogan was 'phir laayenge Kejriwal' and this song also conveys the same. This song will reach every house and people will make Arvind Kejriwal win with a huge majority."

Party Prepared for Elections
With the Election Commission expected to announce the dates for the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections on Tuesday, AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar expressed confidence in the party’s readiness. "AAP is ready to go into the election. We have the CM face, and we have declared all 70 candidates. Contrary to that, the BJP and Congress aren't prepared. We hope that the Election Commission will conduct a free and fair election. The people will elect Arvind Kejriwal for the fourth time," Kakkar said.

AAP Confident of Victory
AAP MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj also voiced confidence, stating, "Nothing is better for AAP than elections being announced today... We are fully prepared and we are confident of a big majority this time as well." In the 2020 assembly elections, AAP secured 62 out of the 70 seats, while the BJP won eight seats.

Allegations of Voter Fraud
Ahead of the election announcement, Arvind Kejriwal raised concerns about alleged voter fraud in the New Delhi Assembly seat. He shared a letter from Delhi Chief Minister Atishi sent to the Chief Electoral Officer, highlighting "large-scale fraud" in voter additions and deletions. Kejriwal's statement read, "Large-scale fraud taking place in voter additions and deletions in the New Delhi assembly. Delhi CM Atishi ji writes this letter to CEC presenting evidence and seeking time to meet."
