New Delhi: The BJP has deployed more than two dozen of its top leaders, including several Union ministers for the Delhi assembly polls with each of them being assigned two assembly segments each.

With less than a fortnight left for the polls, all these leaders will oversee the political and poll management in their assigned assembly seats. Among those deputed are Union ministers Piyush Goyal, Bhupender Yadav, Dharmendra Pradhan, Mansukh Mandaviya, Gajendra Shekhawat and others.

BJP's four national general secretaries -- Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Tarun Chugh and Arun Singh -- along with the party's national secretary Surendra Singh Nagar have also been deputed. Former Union ministers Anurag Thakur and Sanjeev Balyan have also been given roles. Pradhan will oversee the election management in Malviya Nagar and Greater Kailash, while Yadav will supervise Mehrauli and Bijwasan.
