Sarma also targeted Rahul Gandhi, claiming that the Congress leader had never visited the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The Assam Chief Minister's rally took place ahead of the nomination filing by BJP candidates from four constituencies in Mahasamund district.
Sarma expressed concern about the state of Chhattisgarh under the Baghel government, highlighting the alleged religious conversions and attacks on Sanatan Dharma. He claimed that it was only under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the temple was finally built. Sarma criticized the Congress for lacking devotion to Lord Ram and accused its leaders of worshipping Babar.
Furthermore, Sarma highlighted the Congress government's unfulfilled promise of loan waivers for farmers in Chhattisgarh. Sarma stressed the importance of the government working towards generating employment.
The upcoming Chhattisgarh assembly elections will take place in two phases, on November 7 and 17.
