There is God above and Ajmal in the ground: AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal

All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief and Lok Sabha MP, Badruddin Ajmal said that there is god above and Ajmal in the ground.

Addressing an election rally Ajmal said, “Uppar Allah, dharti ka uppar Badruddin Ajmal, Inshallah.”

This has invited a sharp reaction from Assam finance minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma.


He said, “Ajmal has equated himself with God. Prophet Mohammad has been the messenger of God.”

Ajmal also said that if the Grand alliance (Mahajhoot) comes to power key will with AIUDF and AIUDF will have a major role in distribution of ministries.

Himanta said, “Ajmal is a threat to Assamese culture. Can people vote for Congress who’s key and lock are with Ajmal.”

AIUDF’s symbol is key and lock. AIUDF is part of Congress led Grand alliance.
