BJP chief JP Nadda on Sunday said the AIADMK government has been successfully implementing programmes and policies supported by the Centre which have led to development in Tamil Nadu.

He said this while addressing a press conference in Chennai after visiting Puducherry for a series of events. The BJP leader was in poll-bound Puducherry and Tamil Nadu to complete the last leg of campaigning as both regions go to the polls on Tuesday.

Nadda offered his prayers at the Sri Dharbaranyeswarar temple on his arrival in Puducherry, followed by a roadshow in the constituency. Later, while addressing a press conference in Chennai, he said he was confident that the NDA will form the government in West Bengal, will continue in Assam and Tamil Nadu, and also form the government in Puducherry. In Kerala too, he said, the party expects to perform well.
