Assam Election 2021: Voting underway for 1st phase of assembly polls
The voting for the first phase of Assam assembly elections began on Saturday morning amid tight security, an official said. Men and women in large numbers queued up in front of the polling stations well before the voting for 47 of the total of 126 assembly seats opened at 7 a.m. TIMES NOW's Arindam & Waji report from the polling booths.
