The party has announced candidates for 11 seats for the Assam assembly elections, including its lone minister in the current government.
BPF president Hagrama Mohilary released the list, saying, "BPF will contest 11 seats, and along with BJP's four seats in the region. NDA will win all 15 seats. I am 100% confident."

Cabinet minister Charan Boro, a two-time MLA, will contest from Mazbat, while sitting MLA Rabiram Narzary has been fielded from Dotma.
Mohilary's wife, Sewli Mohilary, will make her electoral debut from Kokrajhar. Parmila Rani Brahma, who has represented the Kokrajhar East constituency since 1991, has been denied a ticket. She lost the polls in 2021.
