AP Exit Polls 2024 Live Updates: Major upset predicted in Andhra Pradesh, TDP+ seen getting huge mandate
Exit polls for the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections, held alongside Lok Sabha polls, will be declared soon by various media organizations. In 2019, YSRCP won 151 seats while the TDP secured victory in just 23 seats.

As per KK Survey, TDP+ is said to be winning huge 161 seats out of the total 175 assembly seats while YSRCP is said to be getting just 14 seats. As per NFOPL, TDP+ may get 104-110 seats while YSRCP is seen getting 65-71 seats. Another exit poll conducted by Pioneer has also predicted 144 seats for TDP+ and 31 for YSRCP. TV5 Telugu's exit polls claimed TDP+ to win 161 seats while the ruling YSRC is said to be winning just 14!
The assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh were held alongside Lok Sabha polls this year in one phase. Voting for the assembly polls took place on May 13, and the results are set to be declared on June 4.

The exit polls, on which there is an embargo by the Election Commission until June 1 at 6:30 PM, will provide a good indication of which party is likely to come to power in the coastal state.
The state saw a substantial voter turnout of 78.3%.

The YSRCP's campaign has highlighted its welfare initiatives from the past five years. On the other hand, the NDA has criticized the current state government for its perceived shortcomings and has promised new benefits if elected, including job creation.
The Congress party has included in its manifesto a promise to grant special category status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh for a decade.

Leading organizations like Chanakya, CVoter, MyAxis India, ABP Network, Times Now, India Today, Aaj Tak, Zee News, and TV9 Bharatvarsh are expected to release exit polls soon, potentially revealing if Jagan Mohan Reddy retains his position. It should be noted that exit polls have occasionally been off the mark in the past.
