RBI challenges CIC notice on wilful bank defaulters

RBI has filed two writ petitions in the Bombay High Court challenging the order by Information Commissioner M Sridhar Acharyulu, directing RBI governor to disclose the list of wilful defaulters of bank loans. The Central Information Commission had issued the notice on November 2 and had given the RBI time till November 26 to respond. The Court will hear the case on December 14.
