The RBI's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), chaired by Governor Shaktikanta Das, announce its rate decision after a three-day meeting. In October, the RBI kept interest rates at 6.5%, while changing the forward guidance on the appropriate monetary policy stance to ‘neutral’ from ‘withdrawal of accommodation’.
