The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2016 by Sid Mathur, Khoya makes premium traditional mithai, chikki, mukhwas and savoury snacks, sold through its own digital channels and select retail outlets in Delhi. The brand positions itself as a contemporary, luxury take on traditional Indian mithai, targeting retail and corporate gifting segments.

As part of the agreement, Mathur will retain full operational and execution responsibility for Khoya, supported by his existing team.
"Sid has reimagined one of India's oldest culinary traditions for a new generation of consumers while staying true to what makes it special," said Tara Venu, Executive Director of Atelier Expressions, adding that the company looks forward to building on Khoya's success while preserving its brand identity.
Mathur said the partnership would help scale Khoya's presence across India and open up new collaborations. He added that the brand was built on the belief that Indian mithai deserves the same craftsmanship and design attention as leading global luxury food brands.
Before founding Khoya, Mathur worked with the Impresario Group, where he helped build brands including Smoke House Deli and Social. He also founded Secret Ingredient in 2010, a food consultancy that has worked with clients such as Taj Hotels, The Oberoi and DLF, among others.
The acquisition adds Khoya to Atelier Expressions' existing portfolio, which includes French Limoges porcelain house J.L. Coquet, Dubai restaurant Khadak founded by chef Naved Nasir, and London-based luxury motorcycle helmet maker Hedon.
Atelier Expressions is led by Tara Venu and is based in Singapore. It operates under TVS VENU, which reported approximately USD 6.5 billion in revenue for FY26 and has a presence in more than 90 countries.
