Top industry captains & RBI's Deputy Governor Dr K C Chakrabarty to visit IIMA's ConneXion 2013

AHMEDABAD: Top captains from companies like Tata Starbucks India, Zydus BSV, Schneider Electric, Infosys, MCX, Federal Bank, SAP Labs, Bennett, Coleman & Co. and others from Indian industry to visit ConneXion 2013 hosted by Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad (IIMA). Dr. K C Chakrabarty, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India will open the knowledge summit.

IIMA's Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) is hosting the event which would start from Thursday. The theme for ConneXion 2013 is India InCubate: Idea to Action. The focus is on new ideas, businesses, skills and action plans for growth in the changing global economic environment. The three day event would be inaugurated by Prof. Ajay Pandey, Dean (Programmes), IIMA at the IMDC Auditorium, IIMA New Campus.

Students of IIMA's PGPX 2013-14 batch organising the event, believe that. "Though the current economic flux poses a challenge to businesses worldwide, it is also an opportunity for Indian enterprises to carve a global position for themselves. This requires the support of focused policy initiatives, business processes of international standard and a global mindset."

The event would witness panel discussion between CEOs and industries leaders, elected member of legislature and PGPX alumni. Top industry personalities visiting the event are Shyam Srinivasan CEO of Federal Bank, Dr Nilanjan Ghosh, chief economist from MCX, Anil Chaudhry managing director Schneider Electric, Sanjay Purohit from Infosys, Rashmin Shah CEO Zydus BSV, Anirban Dey managing director of SAP Labs India, Shrijeet Mishra COO of Bennett, Coleman & Co., Avani Davda CEO Tata Starbucks India, and others would participate in the event.
