Super Plastronics to foray into  LED television segment
Super Plastronics, a Kodak brand license partner in India, is foraying into the LED television segment under the Kodak brand, selling them through leading e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart and Shopclues. The company will initially roll out five models in 32-50 inches screen size, including smart television models.

Avneet Singh Marwah, director at Super Plastronics said the company will leverage Kodak’s legacy as one of the leading imaging companies in the world to drive growth in the Indian home entertainment industry.

Kodak’s president for consumer and film division and global chief marketing officer Steven Overman said Kodak has played a key role in the development of the entertainment industry in India and around the world.

As per estimates, over 14.5 million TV sets were sold in India last calendar year of which around 83% of was LED and LCD sets.
