LRN to start offering its services in India this year

NEW DELHI: LRN, the US based firm that advises companies on corporate ethics and value based cultures will start offering its services in India this year. Devraj Shetty, the managing director of LRN spoke about the firm’s services:

We do not refer to ourselves as a consulting firm. You could refer to us as a knowledge services provider or a transformation company as we work on transformation of cultures, governance and leadership in a companies.

We believe that the right way of doing business and profitable business are not two mutually exclusive beliefs. We assist companies in actualising principled performance.

On the portfolio of services:

A lot of companies have mission statements and a set of values but those do not get actualized in the form of behaviors. Though our assessment tools, experiential workshops, behavioral intervention modules, we help companies put their mission statements into practice.

For progress, a company would need innovation and risk taking ability and the organization needs to extend a high degree of trust. Once the company extends trust, it creates an environment of risk taking, which leads to innovation, which in turn, leads to progress. We create that high trust environment in companies.

Companies have to link themselves to a larger mission for enduring success. We expect them to formulate their larger objectives.

On offering services in India

We have been present in India for a decade now. Our team in Mumbai has been building solutions for the US market, and we have decided to launch operations in the Indian market from this year.

The Indian economy has matured and companies here are looking for insights on scaling in the right manner at the right time. We will open offices in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore this year and are in touch with a lot of Indian companies.
