Flipkart appoints former Yahoo executive Hari Vasudev as senior VP for engineering
Vasudev was previously with Yahoo for about eight years in various leadership positions and was also the company's engineering vice-president.

Former Yahoo India R&D head Hari Vasudev has been appointed as a senior vice-president for engineering, IT & analytics for the supply chain unit headed by cofounder Binny Bansal.
He will lead efforts to build supply chain products and services enabled by technology, focusing on areas such as robotics, mobile, internet of things and data sciences.
Vasudev was previously with Yahoo for about eight years in various leadership positions within the search and platforms teams and was also the company's engineering vice-president. However, with Yahoo reducing its India operations to just support and operations functions, Vasudev and a few other senior executives had been asked to move to the US, ET reported in October, last year.
It has also appointed Anand KV as senior vice-president for customer experience at the commerce platform that is being overseen by Mukesh Bansal, the Myntra founder who is playing a key role at Flipkart after it bought the fashion portal.

Prior to this, Anand was with Hathway Cable & Datacom as its president for digital platforms.
Besides, Flipkart has roped in txtWeb co-founder Manish Maheshwari as vice-president and head of its seller ecosystem.He will be responsible for driving initiatives like seller acquisition, enablement and growth as well as strengthening the overall seller ecosystem team.
Maheshwari also has some experience at management consulting firm McKinsey, having worked there for about two years.
