CVL Srinivas appointed WPP country manager

NEW DELHI: CVL Srinivas has been appointed country manager for WPP in India. He will take on this new role along with his current responsibilities as chief executive officer of GroupM, South Asia. He takes the new role from Ranjan Kapur who will continue as chairman of WPP India.

“‘Horizontality’ is our number one strategic objective and Srini’s additional role in India will be to ensure that we work together as effectively as possible to provide clients with effective and efficient solutions,” said Sir Martin Sorrell, chief executive, WPP while talking about the development.

Kapur will continue to help Srinivas and will also focus on his schools and foundation initiatives, according to a company statement.
