Complete sell-off
The small cap fund made complete exit from SBI Funds Management, Jubilant Foodworks, Viyash Scientific, EPL Ltd, Man Infraconstruction and Himadri Speciality Chemical.

Four new stocks were added to the portfolio in the said time period. These four stocks were - Indegene, Gujarat Themis Biosyn Ltd - QIP, Info Edge (India) and Sudarshan Chemical Industries.

Stake increased
The exposure was increased in around 12 stocks in August. Some of the names were Karnataka Bank, Sonata Software, Redington, Hexaware Technologies, Pfizer, Blackbuck, Gabriel India, Just Dial, Manappuram Finance, Strides Pharma Science, Sumitomo Chemical India, and Welspun Corporation.

The exposure was reduced in nearly seven stocks in August. These stocks were - Gujarat State Fertilisers & Chemicals, Oswal Pumps, Rishabh Instruments, Aster DM Healthcare, Ethos, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals, and Sula Vineyards.

The exposure remained unchanged in 81 stocks which included some names such as Adani Enterprises, Adani Green Energy, Adani Power, Apollo Tyres, Bandhan Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, LIC Housing Finance, NCC, Oriental Hotels, RBL Bank, and Zydus Wellness.

According to the monthly factsheet, Quant Small Cap Fund is for the investors with a long-term investment horizon and a high risk appetite and majority of the portfolio is invested in high growth companies with attractive valuations and relative under-ownership.

During August 2026, exposure to Healthcare (+1.52%) and Telecom (+1.24%) was raised while Power (-0.86%), Capital Goods (-0.64%) and Metals (-0.49%) were reduced, the fund house said.
