In April, the fund house added 4.80 lakh shares of ICICI Bank, with a combined market value of Rs 3.36 lakh crore.

The largest flexi-cap fund added 3.90 lakh shares of ITC to its portfolio in April. The shares increased from 7.31 lakh crore in March to 7.35 lakh crore in April.

The fund also added 1.99 lakh and 1.12 lakh shares of HDFC Bank and Bajaj Holdings and Investment respectively in April.

Only 59,909 shares of Dr Reddy's Laboratories were added to the flexi-cap fund portfolio in April. The number of shares increased from 10.06 lakh in March to 10.66 lakh in April. These 10.66 lakh shares had a total market value of Rs 66,149 crore as of April 2024.

Reduced exposure

The flexi-cap fund sold 3.28 lakh shares of Motilal Oswal Financial Services last month. The total number of shares reduced to 72.89 lakh in April from 76.18 lakh in March.

Around 2.94 lakh shares of UTI Asset Management Company were sold in April. The total number of shares recorded at 30.74 lakh in April from 33.68 lakh in March.

Status Quo
The flexi-cap fund made no change in the exposure of around 20 stocks. The fund had around 6.93 lakh crore shares of Coal India in its portfolio in April. It also had 4.72 lakh shares of NMDC, with a total market value of Rs 1,201 crore as of April 30, 2024.

The fund made no change in exposure to Cipla, EID Parry India, HCL Technologies, Indraprastha Gas, and a few others.

In April, the fund held around 29 stocks in its equity portfolio, the same as in March.

This largest scheme in the flexi cap category manages assets of Rs 63,933 crore as of April 30, 2024.

The scheme is managed by Rajeev Thakkar, Rukun Tarachandani, Raunak Onkar, and Raj Mehta.
