I am a 32-year-old IT professional from Pune and I am married. I started investing in mutual funds last year and have added a few funds in my portfolio this year. I am willing to take aggressive risk and I have two goals: home loan payment (10 years; Rs 25 lakh) and retirement (30 years; Rs 2 crore).

Here is my portfolio:

Motilal Oswal Focused 25 Fund: Rs 4,000
Parag Parikh Long Term Equity Fund: Rs 5,000
Motilal Oswal Multicap 35 Fund: Rs 5,000
Franklin India Prima Fund: Rs 4,000
SBI Small Cap Fund: Rs 2,000

How is my fund selection? Do I need to replace any fund in my portfolio?

Suresh Sadagopan, Founder, Ladder7 Financial Advisories, responds:

You have chosen good schemes. Your portfolio also seems to be fine. You may continue to invest in these funds for the long term. However, please review your portfolio at regular intervals and make changes, if required, from time to time.
