Six midcap stocks could move into the largecap segment in AMFI’s H1 CY27 semi-annual reclassification, according to a prediction by Nuvama Institutional Equities.

Higher largecap threshold
Based on current average market-cap levels, Nuvama expects AMFI to raise the largecap cut-off to around Rs 1.10 lakh crore, from Rs 1.06 lakh crore in June 2026. The midcap threshold could rise to about Rs 36,500 crore, versus Rs 33,600 crore previously.

With a market cap of Rs 1.31 lakh crore, Bosch is currently classified as a midcap stock and could move into the largecap category in H1 CY27.
