Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Tapi Fruit Processing Ltd., Network People Services Technologies Ltd., Vera Synthetic, W S Industries and Binani Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 100.85 points to 16871.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Ishan International Ltd., Ajooni Biotech Ltd., InvstmntTrstofIndia, Lasa Supergenerics and BKM Industries, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 19 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Titan Company, Nestle India, Divis Labs and HUL were among top gainers, while Tata Steel, Hindalco, IndusInd Bank, JSW Steel and ONGC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 327.88 points down at 57228.02 at 10:09AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Gems and Jewellery, Telecommunications, FMCG, Building Materials and Power sectors, while selling was visible in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Plastics, Media & Entertainment and Agro Processing sectors.
