Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lambodhara Text, Rama Steel Tubes, Jagran Prakashan, Salzer Electro and Tainwala Chem, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:40AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 63.05 points to 17929.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Sumeet Ind, Jyoti Structure, Paras Petrofils, Transwarr Fin(PP)and Omkar Speciality, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 18 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Britannia, HDFC Life, M&M and RIL were among top gainers, while Bajaj Finserv, Coal India Ltd, JSW Steel, ICICI Bank and IndusInd Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 230.99 points down at 60122.28 at 10:40AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in IT Enabled Services, Metals - Non Ferrous, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Cables and Hospitals & Allied Services sectors, while selling was visible in Glass, Learning & Education, Textiles, Trading and Fertilisers sectors.
