Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Karnataka Bank, Silly Monks Entertai, Frog Cellsat Ltd., Varanium Cloud Ltd. and Kshitij Polyline, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 20.65 points to 18124.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Future Retail, Narmada Agrobase, Rel Capital, SREI Infra Fin and RelDefEngg, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 23 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Sun Pharma, Tech Mahindra, ITC and Tata Steel were among top gainers, while Bharti Airtel, Eicher Motors, Apollo Hospital, Titan Company and Maruti Suzuki traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 72.95 points down at 61048.4 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Sugar, Pharmaceuticals, Rubber, Metals - Non Ferrous and Plastics sectors, while selling was visible in Learning & Education, NBFC, Glass, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors.
