Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Varanium Cloud Ltd., Sonu Infratech Ltd., DC Infotech, Maks Energy Solutions India Ltd. and Jay Jalaram Technologies Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 12.8 points to 17717.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Kandarp Digi Smart BPO Ltd., Vikas Proppant & Gr, Phantom Digital Effects Ltd., OrissaBengalCarrier and TV18 Broadcast, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 21 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tech Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, JSW Steel, Tata Motors and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers, while Nestle India, UPL, Kotak Bank, HUL and Bajaj Finserv traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 49.45 points down at 59782.21 at 10:19AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Construction, Paper, IT - Hardware and Metals - Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in NBFC, Learning & Education, Glass, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors.
