Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Shree Tirupati Balaj, Regency Ceramic, Bombay Super Hybrid, Mask Investments and Vadivarhe Speciality, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:20AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 51.9 points to 16964.4 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Gayatri Project, JFL Life Sciences Ltd., Mega Flex Plastics Ltd., Debock Sales & Mktg and Viviana Power Tech Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 15 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, Britannia, BPCL, Cipla and HUL were among top gainers, while Adani Ports SEZ, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Steel, JSW Steel and Titan Company traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 135.19 points down at 57010.03 at 11:20AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, IT - Hardware, Glass, Tobacco and Sugar sectors, while selling was visible in Defence, Metals - Ferrous, NBFC, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors.
