Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Syrma SGS Technology Ltd., SKP Bearing Industries Ltd., Fidel Softech Ltd., Agni Green Power Ltd. and Medicamen Bio, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 114.1 points to 17636.55 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as GVK Power Infra, Sportking India, Veekayem Fashion & Apparels Ltd., Future Retail and Future Enterprises, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 42 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Hindalco, Titan Company, JSW Steel and Tata Steel were among top gainers, while Eicher Motors, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank, Asian Paints and RIL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 364.89 points up at 59139.61 at 10:19AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Defence, Telecommunications, Fertilisers, IT - Hardware and Tea / Coffee sectors, while selling was visible in Miscellaneous, Metals - Ferrous, Term Lending Institutions, Auto Ancillaries and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
