Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Crown Lifters, Royal Orchid, Lumax Auto Tech, International Constructions Ltd. and Mangalam Worldwide Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:40AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 195.25 points to 16535.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Vikas Proppant & Gr, DRC Systems India Ltd., Rollatainers Ltd, Radha Madhav and Jump Networks, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 44 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, RIL, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors and Titan Company were among top gainers, while HDFC Life, Eicher Motors, M&M, Bharti Airtel and Coal India Ltd traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 715.0 points up at 55482.62 at 10:40AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Cables, Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Sugar and Textiles sectors, while selling was visible in Media & Entertainment, Metals - Non Ferrous, Auto Ancillaries, Gas & Petroleum and Pharmaceuticals sectors.
