NEW DELHI: Shares of Hubtown Ltd, Spacenet Enterprise, Jagsonpal Pharm, Adroit Infotech and Regency Ceramic, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:29AM(IST)on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 34.8 points to 16093.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Suumaya Lifestyle, Sintex Plastics Tech, DRC Systems India Ltd., HCL Tech and Gland Pharma, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 35 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, HUL, Asian Paints, BPCL, Grasim Inds. and L&T were among top gainers, while IndusInd Bank, HCL Tech, Titan Company, Hero MotoCorp and HDFC Bank traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 108.25 points up at 53994.86 at 10:29AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Airlines, Paper, Cables and Petrochemicals sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment, Gas & Petroleum and Auto Ancillaries sectors.
