Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Akshar Spintex, DSJ Comm, Hubtown Ltd, Regency Ceramic and PC Jeweller, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:04AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 70.7 points to 16145.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Suumaya Lifestyle, Sintex Plastics Tech, Arshiya, Viceroy Hotels and Gujarat Apollo, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 14 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 36 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Apollo Hospital, NTPC, Adani Ports SEZ, Wipro and Dr. Reddys were among top gainers, while Hindalco, Titan Company, Bajaj Finserv, UPL and HDFC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 214.47 points down at 54180.76 at 10:04AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Sugar, Aquaculture, Power and General sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment, Auto Ancillaries and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
