Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Manorama Ind, Akshar Spintex, Imagicaaworld Entert, Axita Cotton and Spacenet Enterprise, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 259.55 points to 15520.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Parag Milk Foods, Andhra Cements, Parsvnath Dev., Vedanta and Star Health, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 13 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Asian Paints, ITC, Cipla, HUL and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers, while RIL, ONGC, Coal India Ltd, Titan Company and Adani Ports SEZ traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 877.83 points down at 52141.11 at 10:19AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Paper, Cables, Tobacco and Building Materials sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Diversified, Media & Entertainment and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
