Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sterling Tools, Marathon Nextgen, Wendt India, Spacenet Enterprise and Globesecure Technologies Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:05AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 156.85 points to 15856.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Vaxtex Cotfab, Bombay Rayon, Aakash Exploration, Fidel Softech Ltd. and Dhani Ibull Ventures, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 45 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 5 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, JSW Steel, UPL, Tech Mahindra and Sun Pharma were among top gainers, while Apollo Hospital, Britannia, Divis Labs, Kotak Bank and Titan Company traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 507.71 points up at 53235.69 at 11:05AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Paper, Tea / Coffee, Cables and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Miscellaneous and Industrial Consumables sectors.
