Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Elecon Engg Co, Globesecure Technologies Ltd., Kohinoor Foods, Regency Ceramic and Rachana Infrastructure Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:50AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 172.95 points to 15586.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Vaxtex Cotfab, Karda Const, Fiberweb India, Dhani Ibull Ventures and Maha Rashtra, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 46 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 3 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, Tata Motors and Hindalco were among top gainers, while Power Grid, Titan Company, Apollo Hospital, NTPC and Britannia traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 547.99 points up at 52370.52 at 10:50AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Auto, Infrastructure, Rubber and Cables sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Miscellaneous and Media & Entertainment sectors.
