Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Globesecure Technologies Ltd., Kohinoor Foods, Archidply Decor, GSS Infotech and Visa Steel Ltd, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:45AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 45.1 points to 15315.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Biofil Chem, Le Merite Exports Ltd., Team Lease Service, Vardhman Poly and Fidel Softech Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 16 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Coal India Ltd, Bajaj Finserv and RIL were among top gainers, while Titan Company, Dr. Reddys, Wipro, Cipla and Divis Labs traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 1045.6 points down at 51495.79 at 10:45AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Mining, Metals - Ferrous, Defence and Glass sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Miscellaneous and Media & Entertainment sectors.
