Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Marathon Nextgen, Voltamp Trans, Priti International, Kohinoor Foods and GSS Infotech, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:00AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 38.2 points to 15730.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Sagar Cements, Spicejet, Arshiya, Heidelberg Cement and Biofil Chem, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 22 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, ICICI Bank, Apollo Hospital, RIL and HDFC were among top gainers, while ONGC, Power Grid, Hindalco, Hero MotoCorp and Shree Cements traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 175.66 points up at 52717.05 at 11:00AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Glass, Cables, Retail and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Miscellaneous and Packaging sectors.
