Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Uravi T and Wedge, Ushanti Colour Chem, Impex Ferro Tech, Empyrean Cashews Ltd. and Kohinoor Foods, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:15AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 305.7 points to 16658.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Venus Remedies, Mangalam Organics, Ethos Ltd., Shekhawati Poly and Xelpmoc Design, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 45 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 5 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, HCL Tech, Titan Company, Infosys and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers, while JSW Steel, ONGC, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddys and ITC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 1158.46 points up at 56043.12 at 11:15AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Beverages - Alcoholic, Textiles, Miscellaneous and Gems and Jewellery sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Agro Processing, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment and Industrial Equipment sectors.
