Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Medico Remedies, Shubhlaxmi Jewel Art, Impex Ferro Tech, Shanti Overseas(Ind and Kohinoor Foods, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:49AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 99.45 points to 15926.35 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Sequent Scientific, Vivimed Labs, Gayatri Project, Associated Alch and MT Educare, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 15 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys and TCS were among top gainers, while Adani Ports SEZ, Divis Labs, Asian Paints, BPCL and UPL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 246.62 points down at 53502.64 at 10:49AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Airlines, Telecommunications, Banks, Logistics and InvIT sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Agro Processing, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment and Industrial Equipment sectors.
