Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Akshar Spintex, Apcotex Ind, Network People Services Technologies Ltd., Shanthi Gears and Adani Power, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:29AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 62.55 points to 16328.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Tata Steel, JSW Steel, SAIL, NMDC and Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 38 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, Hero MotoCorp, Titan Company, M&M and Apollo Hospital were among top gainers, while Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Hindalco, ONGC and ITC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 284.61 points up at 54611.00 at 10:29AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Rubber, Logistics, Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment and Auto sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Agro Processing, Tourism & Hospitality, Metals - Ferrous and Media & Entertainment sectors.
