Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Roto Pumps, Chennai Petro, Kohinoor Foods, Impex Ferro Tech and ICE Make Refr, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 297.05 points to 15943.25 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Manappuram Finance, Jeena Sikho Lifecare Ltd., Timescan Logistics(India)Ltd., Lupin and Route Mobile, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 2 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 48 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ITC, Eicher Motors, Dr. Reddys, Sun Pharma and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, HCL Tech and IndusInd Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 990.34 points down at 53218.19 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Tobacco, Telecommunications, Irrigation & Allied Services, InvIT and General sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and IT Software sectors.
