Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Pondy Oxides, Aarti Surfactants(PP), Vertexplus Technolo, Ethos Ltd. and Shree Vasu Logistics, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 149.95 points up at 18065.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as MMTC, Compuage Infocom, Brightcom Group, Parin Furniture and Creative Peripherals, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 41 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 9 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, Britannia, Nestle India and Wipro were among top gainers during the day, while Axis Bank, JSW Steel, Titan Company, ONGC and HCL Tech ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 463.06 points up at 61112.44.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Shipping and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Rubber, Aquaculture, Textiles and Gems and Jewellery sectors during the day.
